The Power of PGD: Creating Healthier Futures
Becoming a parent means dreaming of a healthy future for your baby. At DNA Clinic, we make that dream even safer through PGD (Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis) — a specialized genetic testing procedure performed during IVF to ensure that only healthy embryos are transferred.
PGD helps identify genetic or chromosomal abnormalities before pregnancy, reducing the risk of inherited disorders and increasing the chances of a successful, healthy birth.
Our expert embryologists and genetic specialists use cutting-edge technology to provide clarity, safety, and confidence for families planning for the future.
Our Step-by-Step PGD Process
After fertilization through IVF, embryos are cultured in the lab for several days until they reach the blastocyst stage. A few cells are then gently removed from each embryo by our skilled embryologists without causing harm.
Embryo Development & Biopsy

The collected cells are analyzed in our advanced genetic laboratory to detect possible chromosomal abnormalities or single-gene disorders. This step helps identify which embryos are healthy and suitable for transfer.
Genetic Analysis

Only embryos free from genetic issues are selected for transfer to the uterus. This ensures the highest chance of a healthy pregnancy and significantly lowers the risk of miscarriage or inherited diseases.
